Churchill's Grande Reserva 2014 is produced from 50 year old vineyards at company’s Douro estates.
On the nose, the wine presents seductive combinations of spices such as cloves, ginger and star anise. In the mouth it is juicy with notes of fresh figs, blackberries, raspberries and dates. It has a well rounded long aftertaste.
This is a great wine for great celebrations. Grande Reserva 2014 pairs well with red meat dishes like roast beef, tender loin of lamb and seared duck breast. It is recommended to serve this wine decanted at room temperature.
