Nduja is a traditional spreadable salami from Calabria. Made with a mix of pork, herbs and spices including a generous hit of Calabrian chilli peppers, it packs a punch. The soft texture of this intensely flavoured salami is part of its appeal. As it’s ready to eat, the simplest thing to do is just spread it on toasted bread as a snack or serve as part of an antipasti plate of meats and cheeses. However, its also a great sauce ingredient or a trendy pizza topping.
