This miso, made with white miso, is very mild. Sansho leaves as well as the sansho powder bring floral notes subtly evoking verbena and lemongrass. It is perfect for making light miso soups or, diluted with a little olive oil, to accompany asparagus or root vegetables. It also goes well with noodles, grilled fish, scampi, shrimp and scallops.
