Gathered to the west of Djibouti, in Lake Assal, which is the lowest point and the hottest of the African continent.
This is a very dry salt, which crunches under your teeth. The first notes are rather harsh, blunt, but the taste is very rich. The texture reminds us of the hostility of the lake Assal. The pearls are the result of natural salt water and wind: they acquired their perfect form through the backwash of the waves on sea shore.
