This little berry is rare. You might find it in the Katmandou market. It is collected by the farmers in the Nepal Mountains. The Timut pepper is the brother of the sichuan pepper, but smaller, darker and with an exotique aroma of grapefruit.
Perfect with scallops, and all the fish and shellfish. Try it also with chicken, green vegetables or boiled potatoes with buttery sauce. Berry's delcate citrus and grapefruit aroma combines well with sweet dishes, for example chocolate desserts, fruits and jams.
