Colomba Pasquale is an Italian traditional Easter cake. Colomba dough consists of flour, eggs, sugar, natural yeast and butter, and is enriched with raisins and Sicilian orange peel. The cake is shaped like a pigeon and then sprinkled with pearl sugar and almond glaze.
