Cochinita Pibil is the Yucatan's popular slow roasted pork dish, of Mayan origin. Considered a star dish throughout Mexico for its spicy, aromatic and delicious flavor. To prepare your cochinita pibil at home, all you have to do is marinate your beef, pork, fish, poultry or vegetables overnight in the marinade paste. Consists of orange juice, annatto seeds, spices and vinegar.
We recommend to use one jar of marinade for 2kg of meat or seafood for more balanced flavour.
